Hi Guys,

I'm looking for advise on how I can make my xj6n look more streetfighter style,

I think I need new bars, grips as mine are worn and bar ends.

Does anyone have a recommends on bars and bar ends which will fit a yamaha xj6n 2009?

Thanks
Jack

The usual approach is to drive it into the back of a car and then bodge the remanants into something resembling road legal. for added authenticity see if you can get it rear ended at the same time to achieve that stupid seat pointing at the sky look.

You're supposed to start with something with a lot more expensive plastics than an xj as well.

As Nobby says, it's normally a bodge to get you back on the road. Even with an XJ you are going to lose copious wads of dosh doing that.

Sell your XJ and buy a crashed or track bike for pennies and try modifying that.

Thanks for your reply,

Yes I have considering getting another bike but my bars are bent on this bike anyway so I will need to replace them either way but I'm not sure on the sizing or what will fit with the cabling.

Cheers

A second hand set for the same model?

A streetfighter is a sportsbike turned into a naked. Sounds like you already have a naked. Streetfighter style went out in the mid 2000s, so it won't be 'of the fashion' to put knuckeduster heel plates and skull headlights on your XJ.

Fix it up to standard.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

You'll have a hard time doing anything substantial with the tail by the look of the frame on them, but you could probably throw a set of R1 forks on there if you replace the triples too. Drill in some risers for straight bars and you're off to a good start..
