Cleaner engine? Nah, bang a turbo on it and burn more fuel. Who needs an atmosphere anyway?
Oh, smaller fuel tank, higher fuel consumption*? So with a turbo you can now go about 10yds before you run out
187bhp? Pussy's bike, where's me turbo? 
They looked at making it a turbo engine! And didn't! Wimps!
*  burns more fuel to meet Euro 5?
