So annoyed you can't get them any more.

A bit late to the party, but you can sometimes get them in Farmfoods. You'll be surprised what old brands you can still get in there! It's a like a time warp.

Unfortunately also frequented by the dregs of society!

I shop there too! Their bulk buys wipe the floor with the big supermarkets!

Walkers take some beating IMO but they sometimes mess with the flavours (new improved etc..)

I agree withe the Branigans choice they were sublime but I will also propose:

Walkers Roast Lamb & mint sauce (Sensations?) NLA but as I recall they had real lamb in the recipe

Walkers Toasted Cheese - also NLA Rolling Eyes

For the budget conscious Aldi Meaty selection pack features most of the old favourites - the Smokey Bacon is especially good.

disco salt and vinegar

Though I miss good old Golden Wonder, before Walkers came out of nowhere and kicked their arse.

Also, long long ago, before Pringles.....

Cadburys made these.............

Thinking
The Military Type (who recently resurfaced unscathed) was trying to encourage me to go on a joint shopping trip to Farmfoods, couple of months ago.

I can see I'm going to have to take him up on his offer, just so that I can tell him how low his standards have dropped. Laughing

Okay I had forgotten about those. They were extremely flavoursome.

I remember over Christmas I indulged in some gourmet-flavoured ones. Ginger and Lime something something. And maybe Japanese Horseradish and womblesludge.
They were "interesting", and there wasn't much left in either bag Laughing

The greatest savory snack, although they're not exactly crisps, were Worcester sauce flavour Twigglets.
Alas, no longer available but in their absence, the mustard Brannigans are a worthy substitute.

Tesco do their own version of McCoys (whatever), they are bloody good. And, in the proper flavours.

I can’t recall the brands (Kettle and others?) but some of the salt and vinegar crisps at Tesco’s seem to have substituted vinegar for Harpic Power Plus. Way too strong.

I think Walkers used to / still do tomato ketchup flavour crisps, they make the best crisp sandwich ever.

S&V quavers are currently going down quite well in our house.

As for the worst ever and should never have been made, not never and who ever thought it was a good idea should be taken outside and made to eat 14 tubs... mint chocolate pringles Sick

Salt n Vinegar Pringles, I tend to eat 'em whole and sideways, after a while they "burn" the corners of my mouth!

..and while we're at it those blasted 'Kettle Chips' and others purporting to be hand fried can get stuffed. Too thick, too crunchy and too expensive - enough to break the teeth of a ragged fifty-something.

All those saying worcester sauce flavour, you do mean the old version not the one we get now right? The one that was banned in the mid 2000s or so under that 'sudan list' food that causes cancer?

I'd chance it for another packet of them tasty motherfuckers. Laughing

Doritos aren't crisps. Not sure what they are, cavity wall filler? But they are not crisps.

Sigh, what I'd give for a box or two of those!
