On my bike ride today I saw lots of dog walkers. Now that’s an odd flavour for a crisp.

They are indeed.
From my front door I can see a Co-op and a Dominos.
It's dangerous.

I noticed this thread appear a couple of weeks ago but didn't bother checking it out, well, because. Today I see that it's still gaining new posts, and I think 'ooh, I wonder how far off-topic that thread's gone by now - what'll it be talking about now?' So I've come for a look.

Oh. Still crisps, then.

I agree, the Co-Op Chardonnay Crisps are lush. I am also rather partial to the Kettle Chips salt and vinegar version. I find standard Walkers crisps very unsatisfying these days and the S&V version almost bitingly acidic.

Anyone tried Slabs? They sold them in a local pub. Are as described really - not a massive fan but they are least substantial enough they could be used to scoop even the most viscous dips without breaking.

Back in the day when kids were made to sit outside the pub, we would get a bottle of coke and KP Cheese & Onion crips in a yellow packet.

They were the crisps to have.
full of artifical flavours and upto the eye balls in E numbers.
simpler times.

Thundercats crisps, "Crispy Bacon" flavour /thread

These days, most of the Golden Wonder flavours are pretty good. They're less greasy than Walkers, but if they don't already I have no doubt Walkers will own the brand soon.

I've not seen them since 1985, but they weren't that great from what I remember. I preferred fish and chips, controversial opinion as they're not really crisps, and neither are Doritos, but speaking of which the roulette was the best ever if you were lucky enough to get the spicy one.

https://digitalcontent.api.tesco.com/v2/media/ghs/138a06e3-3de9-4637-a090-a5148d5352f3/snapshotimagehandler_15443601.jpeg?h=225&w=225

They should do a bag full of just the spicy ones.

For now I'm with Fisty on this one, but KFC multipack, as if I open a big bag it just has to get ate, and they go well with alcohol like all crisps.
