Has anyone put a 250cc Honda CB engine into a gz125?

Heard they fit but can't find any info on it regarding is it a slot fit or does it need modifications besides new mounts.

Does everything line up or is it a pig to fit and line up?

The reason for this is I need more top end speed plain & simple.
I love the bike just not the power, its easy to buy a different bike bigger bike etc but I prefer building not buying hence why I havent just gone out and bought a bigger bike.

I live out in the countryside so need more speed for the country roads as its only doing 45-50mph
5th is pointless, it actually looses speed doesn't gain.

Dobson have a full license? If so why not just buy a more suitable bike? If not.....

250 power in that style of bike? GN250 saves you all the bother of the transplant re-reg, insurance notification etc.. etc.. What's more they are deeply undesirable and shouldn't cost much.

Seeing as the CB250 name spans about 30 years and several different engines - singles and twins- you might need to do a bit more research before considering the swap.

Then decide it's pointless anyway and just buy a CB250 if that's that you want.
