I clicked on a motorcycle ad in autotrader today - not to look at the bike in the photographs - but to get a closer look at the nice selection of plants and pots the guy had lining the driveway where the bike was parked . . .

Clearly a sign that I need to be taken away and executed.

Sadly just tarmac - was tempted to send a message telling the guy to install some brindle block paving as it would really highlight the nice line of winter jasmin . . .

Looked pretty good to be honest, the guy is definitely on top of his preventative maintenance.

As you get older, most are less mobile so spend more time at home. So home surroundings become more important to you. Or maybe just retired with similar result. Nowt wrong with that. Wish I had the money to do a few things at home myself. It's all clean and tidy, but if I'm going to be spending all this time here, it'd be nice to jazz things up a bit.

Two members of a band I like alot, a husband and wife have been livestreaming a "gig" every Saturday, from their home.

I'm ashamed to admit that I join for a look at their decor and ephemera rather than the music Confused

Yeah I agree- I was just joshing - gardening is a noble pursuit - I respect the time and effort people put into them and the beautiful spaces they create.

Thats exactly what I was thinking.

Mind you, when I watch that I spend most of my time trying to dodge.

In terms of getting older ... I am just starting to notice "old woman skin" on my face and neck, arrrrgh, turkey neck ... but then: I used to be smug that my younger sister had old woman skin many years before I did. Dance!

I may be getting older, but the badass is becoming more concentrated Twisted Evil

That's insane. You can't get old.
You're like the Peter Pan of BCF.

Okay, well, like Victor Meldrew in a Peter Pan disguise. Shifty

It's not right.

I am now officially in denial. It's like the first time you see the eternally-boyish Michael J Fox with his Parkinsons, it's just not right. Marjay, old? Never!

Laughing

A couple of years back I was at a trackday, and myself and my other half were chatting to a lady who thought I was 25.

It's my 41st birthday on Friday. My hair is not really thinning (although it is slightly receeding) but it seems it is going grey.

I don't believe it! I do NOT Believe it! I was waiting for an important letter to come through, and instead I get a Wickes catalogue!

Killing the moss won’t cure the problem.

1. Mow the lawn and remove cuttings.
2. Scarify the lawn and remove debris.
3. Aerate The lawn with hollow tines and remove the cores.
4. Top dress with a sandy loam .

Aeration and drainage are the keys to significantly reducing moss.

Hope that helps Thumbs Up

Right, I’m of for a cup of tea! , it’s nearly 10 o’clock, I always have tea at ten. Laughing Embarassed
