Can anyone explain this... I have led lights for the indicators on the rear of my bike but I always felt they were not bright enough.
So I decided to switch them back to halogen bulbs and the left turn signal worked fine, nice and bright but the right turn signal wouldn't work at all until I put the leds back in?

LEDs have such low draw some other mods can be needed or flasher won't work for example.
Did you fit the LEDs yourself?

Swap the left and and right hand leads. Does the left one work correctly and the right still not?

(Using the bulbs, obviously.)

Have you used the correct indicator fluid?

This. 90% chance it's a loose connection or shagged bulb.

I say loose connection as well. I've had exactly the same issue when I bought my latest bike and from my vague memory the bike that I owned before that also had the same issue after the purchase. Find the wiring to those blinkers and check for any plugs and connectors. For some reason on my bikes, the previous owners didn't fully push the connectors into the plugs, so vibration over time caused erratic/intermittent issues.

Also check the turn signal relay terminals are clean and well plugged in the wiring loom.
