Hi All,

I installed the Denali smartcan along with denali spotlights on front of the GS and all works well.

Only problem is i never know if there on or not during the day, and even at night they could be on but on dim, i would never know.

For those that dont know what im talking about.
The smartcan integrates the light controls into the bikes existing controls
For example pressing the indicator centre (cancel) button for 3 seconds turns the spots on/off
The wonderwheel if i press right for 3 seconds the lights flash and i can then spin the wheel to dim or brighten the lights.

All that is good at night, but during the day, i have to stop the bike, get off and look

Im just wondering if someone has a work around or some indicator wired in to help

Fit a manual switch? Then you could use:

Yea i did think of that, but hacking into the wiring would remove the other abilitys
When i use the flash/pass lights the spots flash with the main LED headlight.

And the dimming feature as above.

I think the only other thing i can do is splice into the cable and mount a little LED on the bike dash that illuminates along with the lights when they are powered.

Pity the GS doesnt light something up on the dish really.... that would be to easy lol
