Accessories and Insurance

Fingers crossed in the next few weeks I will have got my Mod2 out of the way and have my T120, now their are a lot of accessories available for this bike, im wondering how much they affect insurance premiums, will their just be admin charges for cosmetic things like led repeaters

I briefly tried on the comparison sites, which just ask for a value of whats fitted, and it didnt seem to affect the premium much at all, but when the wife got her first bike and forgot to add her heated grips to the policy, she rang them back to add them and got an insane quote of an extra few hundred quid, she got it sorted in the end but was a lot of messing about, the phone advisor didnt even know what they were

What are peoples own experiences with changing things and insurance

i was planning on having some dresser bars fitted

but in time quite a few things ill want to change, the indicators being poss the second thing id change
