Hi Jeff, not much to report really.

I'm up to around 2800 miles now, which means I've put about 2000 miles on it - about 3 months after I bought it, a change of job meant my commute dropped from 250 miles a week down to more like 50, but I do enjoy riding it, so a lot of those miles have been weekend rides, just heading for nowhere in particular.

We're having a bit of a gas price crisis now (currently around $2.40 a liter here, assuming you're back in NorCal, you're paying something like $1.30) so I've been taking advantage of the upturn in local weather and using it every day for a while.

Still not mad about the suspension, or the seat, but they don't piss me off enough yet to pull the trigger on new parts.

I've become slightly less confident in the tyres, particularly the front, which seems to be more susceptible to potholes and general road imperfections than it was when I got it - might be my imagination, but I've had a couple of unexpected front end twitches and the pressures and tread depths are OK, so maybe they go off over time.

Other than that, no more mods and still nothing has broken or fallen off, so we're all good.

What tyres do they come with? They look a little cartoony.

They do Avon Roadrider Mk2 (AM26) in those sizes which are tyres I find wholly acceptable.

I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles.

They are badged as Pirelli Phantoms, but I'm damn sure they aren't as good as the Phantoms back in the day.

The front has got a zig zag tread pattern and I've had it do that a couple of times, almost as if the wheel is following the tread and it definitely doesn't like longitudinal road imperfections, it tramlines like a bastard.

Assuming from the spoked wheels that the tires require tubes. That would probably limit your choices for good rubber. Confused
