Hi I have a Suzuki GS 125 that has failed the mot on the rear brake having fluctuation in braking effort. I have been told it is to do with the steel brake liners on the wheel. I am struggling to find a replacement wheel. And was wondering if the was another model wheel that would fit or if anyone knows of a company that could machine my liners down a bit.

Thanks

John

Before spending a fortune on a wheel , take the wheel off and 'sand' the rubbing surface of the drum with emery cloth , or wet and dry, when it all looks uniformly shiny, put it back together and get the MOT tester to just try it on the brake tester ( he might let you do that for free, rather than taking it for a full test). If it's OK then good to go, if not then it's new wheel time, unless you know some one with a massive lathe.
