Before spending a fortune on a wheel , take the wheel off and 'sand' the rubbing surface of the drum with emery cloth , or wet and dry, when it all looks uniformly shiny, put it back together and get the MOT tester to just try it on the brake tester ( he might let you do that for free, rather than taking it for a full test). If it's OK then good to go, if not then it's new wheel time, unless you know some one with a massive lathe. ____________________ All the above is my personal opinion, you can see my lips move, but I'm talking out of my arse.
