Hmmm Thinking
That's not a bad idea, I'm looking for something to dabble with and there are big growing areas north and south of me, so just how hard can it be? Certainly a damn sight easier than the bloody daft idea of trying to grow hops round here and a dang sight less risky than planting dope...

Well, what's more amazing is that the Gofundme I set up "Get Chickenstrip High" has reached £50,000.

Hasta la vista suckers! I'm spending the lot on halloumi, souvlaki and Metaxa.

Well, it's either keeping you distracted or rubbing it in and whichever it is you only have yourself to blame. Laughing

Apparently a nice dry, sunny climate around 25 to 30 degrees (75 to 85 in old money) but with 4 to 5 months before a crop that rules out the UK unless you have a heated greenhouse Thinking

Your antiviral software is a bit homophobic isn't it? Besides you can't catch HIV over the internet.

I quit smoking out of pure pig headed spite. Somebody claimed I was addicted, I stopped rolling cigs on the spot. Never smoked since.

She regretted it, she couldn't roll. Laughing

Took me a few attempts to quite. Cracked it in 2006. Apart from a couple of nice cigars (which I didn't enjoy as much I as I thought), that's been it ever since. For me the smoking ban coming in helped though - my problem was late night pool matches with virtually chain smoking for hours on end. When that scene was "cleansed" a year later, it made my life a lot easier.

Some say "once a smoker, always a smoker" - that's rubbish IMO. It gets easier with time and eventually you get to a point where you don't want to even smell it anymore, let alone purposefully follow someone smoking to get a pseudo-drag of their exhaled smoke (possibly not covid safe).

I thought it was "There's no anti-smoker like an ex-smoker"?

I'm not so much anti-smoking as I am pro the benefits of not smoking, namely the financial cost and it's quite nice not hacking up blood on the rare occasions that I now get a cough...
That and judging by the few smokers that I meet nowadays I must have stunk like a stale ashtray.
