Suzuki gp100 for restoration

Hi. I have a 1979 model needing TLC has been rotting away in a garden shed and has been 25 years since ridden. It's badly rusted and the saddle has disintegrated but I need it to go to a good home. I've never used a forum before but would welcome any advice on how to get in touch with someone who might want a project. I have log book but not key.

The only way you can be sure of it having a good home is if you keep and fix it yourself.

If that's not an option then eBay auction with 99p start would be my suggestion.

They were gutless back in the 80s and nobody in their right mind would even trying to fix one that hasn't run for 25 years without confirmation that it has compression.

Oh, and in addition there's a rotary valve between the carb and the intake that can wear out it's seat so it's not just the piston and barrel that you need to worry about after 25 years.
