Hello guys. First of all, sorry for my English(it's not my native language), secondly I'm beginner in these things, so my part knowledge is also quite broken.

I bought Kawasaki ER-5 just recently and it had and accident, all right side of motorcycle are damage (with main speedometer). I have a lot work to do, but main problem is that before taking off all parts I want to start engine. Just once to see how it works. But I can't do that. What I did:

*Checked battery (it is fine, starter works good)
*cleaned carburetor(was cleaned already)
*checked if ignition candle gives ignition(took out and touched with rim, spark was good)
*choke slide is open
*key lock is okay(pushed it "ON")
*all other safety vires are disconnected(but i guess if there is a spark, then there is no problem with vires, yes?)
*fuel tap is on PRI

What else should I do? I guessed that there is fuel fault, but I'm so new at this that I don't know what else should I do.

I'm pretty sure they need the rev counter to be connected to run properly, but you say you do have a spark...

It could be flooded. Try turning it over with the fuel and choke off and the throttle open. Maybe even worth trying some starter spray.

For what it's worth, it sounds ok.

my guess is that the tip-over sensor got tripped. This sensor is also known as a bank-angle sensor, and its purpose is to shut the engine off in the event your bike gets knocked over or you go down. I believe Kawi had one of these in the ER-5. It can be reset. Instructions in your service manual.

Trying to find this kind of stuff, but I dont think that ER-5 has it, because in manual there is no such thing.

You are absolutely certain it has a spark? Because as i said, I thought the rev counter needed to be connected for the IC igniter to function properly.

You say you've bypassed the safety interlocks but they are pretty complex on an ER5... Bridging the clutch switch so it appears like the clutch is pulled in all the time is the best bet in that respect.
