|
|
I wonder if anyone can advise me please.
My mobile number seems to be on a scammer’s list??
Every now and then I get a call from a number I don’t recognise and if I need to, those numbers are easy to block, even I can do that with my current mobile phone.
However I now seem to be receiving more and more emails that are clearly suspicious.
So can I block them , and how do I go about doing that?
Thank you for any advice given ____________________ I am the sum total of my own existence, what went before makes me who I am now! |

I find using your own domain name effective at avoiding spam, it feels like spam just string characters together and stick @gmail.com or whatever on the end.
if you have xxxxxx@pepperami.co.uk you may go under the radar a little more.
How accurate this is, I don't know, but I use my own domain, powered by Google Workspace, and I rarely ever get spam.
Also, don't give out your real email, unless you really want to, and tick those boxes that prevent sharing of details, big companies now appear to listen to that following GDPR. |
