If the next BCF BBQ happens at the foot/top of a mountain then I'm in.

BTW, when is the next BCF BBQ?

Asking for a friend.

There is a 'not BCF BBQ' with a 11 pm curfew overnight on the 9th August in West Wiltshire.

PM me for details if you feel the need to attend.

Does not compute.

What does that mean, everyone has to go home at 11pm?

That looks like mad fun, although a little too energetic for the likes of me, all that pedalling!

Having said that, the senior consort has quite a lot of silverware earnt in go-karts over the years, so I might send him that link for a laugh Laughing

Funnily enough, we were discussing camping this evening.
I am trying to entice the senior consort to go to a hillclimb* - and he seems quite interested, but he reckons something along the lines of not having any camping gear, or that one of his chums has maybe still got a tent.

I pointed out that I am not a fan of the camping genre as such - and that I'd much rather we stayed in a hotel nearby. But he then mentioned that he did a lot of camping in his past, including camping on concrete (ugh!) at Le Mans
Rolling Eyes (years and years ago before he was this old, obvs) Rolling Eyes
... but if he and his chums still contemplate camping, with some degree of comfort involved as a concession to extreme old age, then who am I to discourage him.

* (classic cars not bikes, and only as spectators, although I can tell that his competitive streak may stir him to go out and buy a bloody car to compete next time) Laughing
