My gears have been ground today by being offered a rather cool-sounding job on a film being a limo driver (non-speaking part) but ... the filming date is on one of the days I shall be in Greece on holiday with Anita Brick Wall

Had to turn iti down, ugh! Mad If I was in town I'd have jumped at that one, for sure!

So I emailed them back and said No Can Do, but that if the filming date changed (which it quite often does) that I may well be available.

Supermarket wine. Sometimes good but too often sour, and I’m not convinced it’s down to personal taste, price, cork vs. cap or anything ‘bottled in the UK’. Bottles of the same wine seem to vary too; the effects of transport and storage, I guess. It’s just too convenient to pick one up with the grocery shopping instead of visiting a quality wine merchant.

No brainer, though.

Easy to rebook an MOT.
Not so easy to get joined-up hospital administrative systems anywhere at the moment. Rolling Eyes

I’ve received half a dozen lengthy emails recently from different addresses claiming they’ve taken control of my ‘pooter, it’s camera, everything, and threatening to post a split screen of me wanking and the video I was watching unless I click on a link and donate something called bitcoin. Worrying though this might be, I was amused by the fact that their pre-eminent IT abilities still couldn’t swerve the junk email folder. W@nkers.

Everyone gets that email. Well, everyone who's been on the Interwebs for more than 5 mins anyway.

It's a result of spending too much time on pornhub.
They link your IP address to their AI and then target your Pooter.

You might get a call from a very helpful Indian sounding chap who can have a look at the registry of your computer and delete those files.

For a fee.

Bit of an odd one this morning.
In over 20 years of owning dogs, I've never been accused of cruelty but as I returned from the park earlier I met what I can only describe as someone who wouldn't be out of place glued to the road in protest at something or other.
She was cycling toward us, stopped to cross the road and then whilst on the opposite path she proceeded to hurl abuse about how I was an arsehole for walking my dog in this heat.
I've postponed walking the dog on hot days before, no doubt every dog owner has.
This mornings temperature didn't warrant a cancelled walk imho.
Can't wait for the next encounter. Twisted Evil

That's not the worst part.
There are those who benefit from these sort of information. Shocked

I like my wee brothers approach to folks like this. He "Pardon?... I heard you the first time" s them.

So they have their diatribe and you say "Pardon?". Garaunteed they re-launch into their pre-rehersed diatribe again. When they've stopped, give them "I heard you the first time" with as much scorn as you can muster. Then turn round and walk away.

It makes their head explode. On one occasion he did it, a road-raging coach driver at a motorway services had to be physically restrained by his passengers.

I loathe the bastards. They're silent and painless up to the point that they've had their fill of your blood then they rip out and that's sore. Just to add insult to injury they leave a painful weal as well.

The usual repellents don't work either - I've squashed five of the bastards this week so far. I'm not bothered about wasps, I don't flap around them and I don't get stung.
