Absolutely destroyed Ste at pool and managed to foul whilst potting the black in both the games.

First, followed through, second, managed to tap the black before my last ball fell in in a single shot.

Both times he had at least 4 balls on the table.

On the plus side no.1 son managed to cycle back after 2 pints of black rat.

If ever my cars have been to garages for tyres or whatever. I always undo the nuts when I get home and do them up properly. Those monkeys just zip them up with 5000lbs on their guns with no care. I have a spare wheel, i'd like to be able to take the flat tyre off myself in the future to be able to use it and not have to rely on a call out service like a teenage girl because I can't undo some wheel nuts. An extendable wrench works a treat.

I've always carried one of these as has my OH. Thumbs Up

After years and years of painful headaches. Playing nicely with the GP, getting eyes, teeth et al tested repeatedly, exclusion diets and other such bullshit. I finally cracked and paid for a private head/brain MRI. Lots of pretty pictures on a CD and a few days later the report. The word likely and maybe, used, a lot.

Need to now re-nag my GP for a referral for a second opinion. If they ever answer the phone.

All those virtue-signalling copy-pasta posts on Facebook referring to depression or Alzheimer’s or whatever.

Facebook just serves as a depressing reminder that 50% of the population are below average intelligence.

Saw someone the other day had shared some anti vaxx rant. About how it was been forced on to people with the treat of loosing your livelihood and freedom etc, the last line of the post urged people to copy and paste it to their feeds.

One of the comments on the post was along the lines of

yeah, copy and paste if you think fir your self

When I call someone from work and halfway through the call they say "You're breaking up". "I can't hear you.", "You've got a bad signal".

What do you want me to do? I'm sat at a desk returning your call from a hardwired landline -as I'm sure you saw before you answered the call. It's you that's on the mobile. If you have patchy reception, stop wandering about.

Whenever I didn't want to talk with someone I used to say that while scrunching paper near the mic'.

A tickly cough due to deep down flooding of the lungs with lime green snot, & now I have 3x broken ribs thanks to not keeping the workshop as tidy as it should be.

Our local Post Office collections depot has changed it's opening times to 8-00 to 10-00 ! Closed weekends!

Web site still says they open at 07-00 so left home to be outside at 5 to seven, and there just happened to be a PO guy going past the entrance. I asked about the opening times and questioned if they were just for Xmas, "No" he said, "that's the norm now".

Not really for joe public any more is it.
How the fuck are working people supposed to collect/drop off?

Collections can be arranged free via Royal mail website. Haven't had a need to go to a PO for as long as I can remember.

It was an Ebay prepaid (by the seller) return. Would they collect from my place of work?

I ended going out at lunchtime and dropping at the village PO. Not a bit deal, just ground my gears turning up at the PO using the info on the web , and making me unnecessarily late for work.

I stood on something in bare feet and left bloody footprints behind be in the hall. First person that noticed was wifies sister when she came inthe house at lunchtime. From the resultint conversation I think she thought there was foul play afoot.

That's great, and I will keep it in mind for later, but...

as I mentioned, I'm not there during working hours ( in my 05-30 to 17-30)....
