Ordered a new (lease) car 4 months ago. Still hasn't arrived. Due to the worldwide shortage of semi-conductors apparently. Now looking like I won't get it until December.

If Skoda can't get hold of enough semi-conductors, why can't they get whole ones and just break them in half?

Fucking petrol prices 36 fucking quid to fill the bike today. E5 fuel is £1.38 a litre here, it has gone up 3p per litre since they brought in E10 fuel. The normal unleaded price has stayed the same, Bastards.

I decided to roast a squash, cos the senior consort gave me a couple of them, and I was too lazy to open a can of red salmon.

But then I got engrossed in the NHS job and forgot about them, until I could smell that something in an oven somewhere was cooking. Oh! That would be the squashes I put on about three hours ago.

Luckily they were salvageable, just a bit of a leathery top layer, but which was easily improved with a LARGE knob of butter in each half and then a massive dollop of cream cheese on top of that.

Scoffed my way through them, but something has now given me a swollen lip. I wonder if I am allergic to squash, butter, cream cheese or just Things That You Eat Straight Out of The Oven and Burn Your Mouth On.
