HI All,
First post here.
Hope you are well.
Just bought my first big bike a few weeks ago and all runs well.
Only gripe I have is that when I put it in first or second gear, the change is rather difficult and makes a kind of a crunching sound.
It has been like this with my other previous Honda bikes so Im thinking it's kinda normal? Confused
The bike has over 41000 miles on the clock.
Thanks and happy biking... Smile

I have had the same problem over the years with incorrect engine oil (clutch plates sticking) and a fast tick over / idle speed.

You think changing engine oil might improve it? Making gear shifting more smooth?

Very doubtful.

Check your clutch adjustment.
