I was searching for WR155 video, then I found this.
Indonesian WR155 rider goes through flooded road.
He seems to be trying to go home according to translated subtitle.
He seems to be enjoying it.

btw I posted on WR155R in 2019 Dec, now owner reviews of this bike are on youtube. This bike seems to be fairly quick for its engine size.
Maybe some what faster than Serow250 on the road. ____________________ 2020 Touring Serow 250

Although I did notice the video cut at 17s which is roughly at the point I'd expect the water to have reached the airbox inlet (on most of these bikes the underside of the saddle is the top of the airbox).
Riding through floods is pretty good fun, well, up until the point it's deeper than you thought and your engine sucks water in. Had that at one point last year on my enfield but thankfully, it has a decompressor valve that can be manually opened so the water can be expelled from the enhgine without the risk of hydraulic locking.
It looks like a handy little machine. I bet they would do very well in long distance reliability trial events (road and offroad navigation with observed offroad sections).
Not a model they'd be doing in the UK though. Would probably make the list of motorcycles to circumnavigate the world on. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles. |

I noticed the engine stopped and then restarted too. I didn't know off bike can go through water that deep and motor didn't break.

This bike seems to be sold in asian countries mainly. It's parallel import and not an official Yamaha model here yet, this size bike looks good for us, designed for Indonesian people means it's not too high for us too (like WR250 with super high seat). ____________________ 2020 Touring Serow 250
