I get about 30 to 33 miles per UK gallon on my S1000R. I fill up about every 100 miles and I get about 15 litres in.
Apparently the capacity is 16.5 so the estimated range on the dash isn't leaving anything in reserve. Low fuel light comes on with 30 miles to go, and it only has 120 miles when full. I generally fill at 20 miles left. ____________________ Bikes: S1000R, SH350; Exes: Vity 125, PS125, YBR125, ER6f, VFR800, Brutale 920, CB600F, SH300x4

unfortunately am not in the habit of wearing tyres out quickly on the Hayabusa,
So I can assume it is not being ridden in the original manufacturers expectations, but as am at retirement age ( thats my excuse) , and when I take my best friends daughter on it I have to have a top box on, otherwise they worry about her falling off the back! ____________________ previous C50,CD175,GT500,GSX250,CB750KZ,GSX750E,GSX1300R |

I think I worked it out on the VFR750 once and it was doing about 45mpg. Haven't bothered on the 800 yet but I imagine it's about the same. ____________________ Current - '94 VFR750FR, '00 VFR800FI Previous - '10 Street Triple R, '92 MZ ETZ301, '05 TTR250, NSR125R, KMX125, "Honda" Win (chinese copy of an old Honda design with a C90 engine)
