After approximately 362 days since my first full license lesson I passed my mod 2 first time on Monday. It's been a bloody long rocky road but it's done !

Hear, hear.

No idea what a 'Mod2*' is but congrats all the same.

*TBF sounds like the one part test from the early 80s and prior but with someone following you.

Cheers dude and congratulations. Three minors -

One observation - stopped at round about looked clear as far as I could see but a car came up fast, I'd started to pull forward but hadn't crossed the line but had to stop quickly.

Two I think we're for the same thing one for road position and one for steering, on one right hand turn I swerved back out left before turning right.

It's all a bit of a blur really I was so focused on what I was doing, I couldn't believe it when we pulled back into the test centre felt like only been out 10 minutes tops !!

Any minors yourself ?

I got two minors. One was for going over the give way line and the other was for indicating when it wasn’t necessary.

Good results all round then so what bike you getting now mate? So many to choose from my heads all over the place trying to work out what I want. Going to go try ergos on a few ones to see.

I've no idea !! I've been doing my licence or so long I've changed my mind about two dozen times ! I'm on a tight budget so probably be a cheap second hand 600. Bandit, hornet ,Fazer, er-6. Use that while get some decent seat time under my belt and save up for a bike I really want. How about you ?

well done !

I had numerous issues myself, covid, some personal things, etc, took me far longer than it should have done too, but the feeling once it was done was amazing, couldnt quite believe it

only just noticed this was a bumped old thread, well for me it was over a year from CBT to pass, but numerous lock downs delayed me, long waits for tests, and only being able to fit lessons in around work and half day holidays

I would imagine some of the test backlog has gone now, and no more covid lock downs, but i wouldnt try and rush it, takes as long as it takes
