I'm kind of disappointed about how non rock and roll that is though.

I mean they are a good bike and a superb middleweight sports commuter but it's more Parkside of Dunoon.

EDIT: So if you were the drummer of a world famous progressive rock band, what everyday rider bike would you have gone out and bought new in the year 2000?

I'll go Buell Lightning.

He also owned a '97 KE100 which has done a grand total of 355 miles from new. It went for £2,601 at the auction. Laughing

is quite interesting, and if I had to pick one, I’d go with Jean-Jacques, but I think that’s because I prefer The Stranglers over Bruce et al.

Although not sure if they qualify as progressive.

How much did it sell for in the end? I wonder if the provenance increased the price? Personally I wouldn't care if God's own plumply buttocks had graced the seat before me, it's still a Hornet so that'd be the only factor in working out the price for me ... but some people are strange Smile

Perhaps it comes equipped with an 'Interstellar Overdrive' allowing you to 'Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun'.

But if it only had it's first service after a decade I would 'Run Like Hell' as I wouldn't want to end up 'Marooned'.

Looks like he probably only used it pootling round fields or something, rarely doing more than 2 or 3 miles each trip.
