Back in the Old Country helping my mum pack some stuff before the big move next month. One wall of books packed so far... 12 banana boxes filled Shocked

Treated mum to a chinese takeaway and bumped into an old school mate I haven't seen in over 35 years. "Sorry, didn't recognise you without the hair!" but he recognised me instantly. What can I say? I must be well preserved* Laughing

* I recommend pickling in rum.

I really don't. There are too many idiots who would be driving on bald tyres. Fucked brakes and spewing out black smoke without a care in the world. A year is fine.

Or be like the Dutch who consider unroadworthy motorcycles to be a self-limiting problem.

I think for a new vehicle every two years till the thing's 10 years old sounds reasonable.

Social workers. £30+K a year and can't even bring a situation into some kind of control even when they have all the legal means to do so. Instead "well... email an update on the situation". Yes love I will to your boss via a claims lawyer for damages if i survive the knifing.

Looking at a repeat of this. Ffs.

It took me to a story about someone in a residential home.who murdered someone.

Not seeing a.reason to reference social workers.

I do. Have a similar situation developing and an SW is most definitely failing to pull a finger out.
