Plant Net app on the phone, recommended by a colleague. Identified two “weeds” in the garden (Tree Mallow and Cosmos) from my photographs alone. I am become David Bellamy.

Well, I've been having a strangely productive week.
For once my brain is functioning in the way that it *should* do.
That it *used* to do.
And its been terribly helpful.
I actually feel like I am achieving things, even in a constantly-interrupted way, and finally appear to be making headroads into my work.

So I treated myself to a little stroll down the Kings Road after work (till my feet started to hurt), had a ridiculously expensive G&T in the Chelsea Potter, and very nice it was too! Followed byh windowshopping in shops that I can nowadays afford to buy stuff in, but just not all the time. Laughing

Lovely!

What's the difference between a kayak and a canoe though? I've always wondered.

A kayak starts with a k and a canoe starts with a c.

The correct answer isn that canoes have a completely open deck.

I followed a bike for a couple of miles today in the car.
Buggered if I could identify it but it looked interesting and it was making a cool noise.
I memorised the reg and later entered it into the Vehicle Smart app on my phone.
It turned out to be a Derbi Mulhacen 659, strange little thing.

High-sided exhaust, good ground clearance, 80/20 tyres... it's ticking so many ADV boxes and yet not even close Thinking

A canoe is anything from this

https://wehco.media.clients.ellingtoncms.com/img/photos/2019/07/09/192384656_AN-OUT-FLIP-COLUMN-7-9.jpg

to this

https://www.silverbirchcanoes.com/assets/gallery/_resampled/CroppedFocusedImageWzc5Miw1MTAsIjUyLTQwIl0/rebel-1-1.jpg

or this.

https://darksidecanoes.files.wordpress.com/2016/03/dw2016_1.jpg

A kayak is this

https://www.experiencedays.co.uk/images/kayaking-experience-in-essex-1920x1080-resize.jpg[img]

or this

https://i.ytimg.com/vi/jxFauHSpJxo/maxresdefault.jpg

or this.

https://www.britishcanoeing.org.uk/uploads/newsImages/Marathon-Racing-Committee.jpg

For canoes and kayks the photos are genera purpose boats, white water / play boat and lastly marathon boats.

The simple difference between kayaks and canoes is the paddle; kayak paddles have two paddle blades, one on your left and one on your right whilst canoe paddles only have a paddle blade.

There's more kayaking tomorrow morning or at least I'm going and Nobby's noblet is coming along as well.

Mr. Green

Found one of my vices (metal) in my Dad's garage and now fitted to my new work bench, just need to find my wood vice.

I also was able to finally get the rear caliper off the car.

Essentially veggie. I also stopped eating rice and a lot of carb heavy foods, but that was more because i was experiencing low blood sugar after eating to heavy a meal and at my age that's not good. I also upped my fluid intake. I also started making soda bread to replace normal bread which has yeast in it.
