It's the roads salt that does for bike. Not just the lumps but the dissolved stuff on the surface that sprays up into all the nooks and crannies. It needs to be washed off and the bike dried.
Fair weather rider will help - a lot - as will drying out after a damp run (people use leaf blowers for this purpose I'm told). Regular waxing and polishing will of course help plus a coat of anti corrosion spray for the winter (ACF50 ACS1000(?) etc..) ____________________ Now: A100, GT250A, XJ598, FZ750, SL1000
