Hello I need help identifying my NSR 125

It's a Honda NSR 125 '95 (SuperSport version with foxeye headlights), but my VIM Number goes like ZDCJC22900F..... and when i researched my VIM it says thay my bike is NSR F (the naked version), while it is not. Would appreciate a lot if you could help me identify my bike.

I'm sure more knowledgeable people will be along, but I believe the naked version is fundamentally the same bike as the faired one, so it's possible someone has converted it? I'm not sure how you could confirm that for sure though.

Adding some pictures to the thread will probably help with identification though. I think (my NSR ownership was long ago), there may be a paint code sticker under the seat which may help with which version you have.

Hey there, glad to see another NSR owner Smile

You are right, according to your VIN number, your model is an NSR 125F. Does your bike look like in the pictures below? Share a pic of your NSR, it will definitely help.

The NSR 125R VIN should look like this (depending on the country):

UK
Frame number: ZDCJC22C******
Italy
Frame number: ZDCJC22A******
France
Frame number: ZDCJC22B****** - can look like an 8
Switzerland
Frame number: ZDCJC22E******

Just like Zen Dog mentioned share the color number, it's located under your seat.

Sorry for my limited help. I was doing research with my own nsr, checking if the color and fairings match, and I was struggling to find some more detailed info.

Is it an import?

Can we see the bike from the side?

Are you wanting to identify what exact model it is out of interest or are you needing to buy parts for it?

Well, you gave us a Model Code, but it still helps. According to bike-parts-honda, your bike should be an NSR 125F. It seems someone attached the fairings and made it look like 125R Smile

Doesn't the VIN suggest that it's a JC22 model? Laughing

Well yes, yes it does. The pictures I uploaded (previously) are the JC22 model of 125 F. Below is the JC20 125F Smile

Edit. One thing that also came to my mind. Take off the fairings and look at the mounting points. NSR 125F shouldn't have factory mounting points because it was designed without fairings in mind. I added an additional picture and marked the mounting points where it attaches to the frame. Take off the fairings and look at these points, do they look prefabricated? You can also post a picture Smile
