Bike seem fine going to and from work, around 3 miles there and back. But I did around 8 miles and my bike started to get hotter. The fan did not kick in until around the temp getting 3 1/4 On the dial. Any idea what you think this could be

What you are describing is normal. 3 miles isn't really long enough for it to get hot.

The fan shouldn't kick in unless stationary on a hot day.

It's 3/4 and not 3 1/4,BTW. Ffs. Do kids not get taught anything these days?

Bikes run hot, especially when they’re not moving at any speed. Don’t worry about it until the gauge is in the red and/or you get a flashing light. The owner’s manual will give details.

As above, it sounds like normal behaviour.
3 miles there and back ? that's a single 1.5 mile journey
hardly warmed up if you ask me.

I wouldn't even bother getting my bike out of the garage for that distance most days.
