What's in your eye line right now?

Two really cheap and nasty uplighters which haven't worked properly in about five years.

There's another one in my bedroom. I've got the Submissive Gargoyle that Maggie knitted for me, sort of hanging there.

But it doesn't actually *work* any more. (None of them do)
I should seriously reconsider my household lighting.

I've got a trumpet that I acquired in 2018 with the full intention of learning to play it ... and I still can't do more than parp on it.

But it looks cool, so I have moved it into the "decor" category Laughing

A BT Tribune phone.

I have been updating/replacing/fixing the phones in my hospital EU sector.. and this little phone (with an actual bell) was being used on one of the main reception desks in main trauma... Laughing

Speak for yourself.

it feels like the doc sticks an oar up my arsehole on my annual prostate check but he insists it's it's just a finger.

It probably is his finger, unless he has a hand on both shoulders. Twisted Evil

He doesn't have both of his hands on my shoulders because he usually cups my balls. He says it's to take my mind off the anal probing.

Hopefully its going to turn into one of those LONG threads where people just notice what a lot of shite they have surrounded themselves with, and wonder why they put up with having it in their fucking house all this time.

I have a lot of material to deal with in this thread, if that is the case Laughing

That’s very unhygienic

I’m gonna have to do an inventory before getting back to the OP.

You could be right ... but sometimes its what people have given you, or left there (or died and you've unintentionally inherited Rolling Eyes ).

Or things you might have picked up out of a skip, or off the street when someone is chucking it out, and you brought it indoors with the intention of renovating it but you ended up just adding to YOUR junk instead of someone else in your neighbourhood Laughing

Well-meaning people giving you this or that, etc.

And today ... someone ordered a canvas with stupid manga cartoon action characters on it, and the postman delivered it here in a tube, but I didn't read the label, just assumed it was for me cos I ordered an assortment of arty-farty things lately.

So when I didnt recognise the canvas, I looked at the label and it belongs to a man who lives the next street over, but at the same number. Rolling Eyes

A 22" flat screen TV.

When I lived in a caravan and it was no more than 3 feet away, it was perfectly adequate, but now it's 4 times further from me, it's completely useless.

I considered putting it in the bedroom, but it's still going to be far enough away that I couldn't watch it.

The kitchen is another alternative, but I can't think of any circumstance where I might want to watch telly in the kitchen.

So I've got a perfectly good television (with built in DVD player) that I can't find a use for.
