To the RXS100's credit, it ran for 5 miles before finally catching on a port!

My fears of fuel mixture being the cause can be put to one side! Surprised

Oh dear, one bit looks like a little end roller, and another bit looks like a piston ring expander ?

How was the little end and crank ?

Expect more debris in the crank case...

Although what you can see of the cylinder doesn't look too bad, should be good for a rebore. Unless there's a huge score out of shot.

I wouldn't ride it.

That things a death trap. Laughing Laughing

Bore-Kit it.

I can see, what looks awfy like, the remnants of a red powerband on one side, lower down the bore.
That's prolly what caused it to assplode.
Should have stuck to the blue powerbands. Rolling Eyes

Totally a case of a wrong piston return spring being used.
