Not to name and shame but this account:

https://www.bikechatforums.com/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=111721

is clearly a fake spam account.

Does the site have a system for reporting spammers so they can be booted? I tried reporting the post as spam but I'm clearly not sufficiently credible as the account is still there Laughing

The karma system does a pretty good job. The first few people who see the post marking it as spam are enough to warn everyone else and if the spammer persists (they rarely do) eventually *every* post they make will be hidden.

Rate them as spam on the karma system, if I see them, I'll nuke them but I'm not always here. I'm not sure if there's anyone else about actively doing janatorial stuff just now.

In fairness, I think Korns forum setup is pretty solid, it seems to catch a lot all by itself.

I have no idea where spam reports go to.
