I'm assuming your partner is using the YBR250 then.
Possible quick fix is some doughheid has blinged the beast and fitted non OEM bar ends.
Bar ends serve two important porpoises.
1st to prevent the bar from 'apple-coring' you if you fall off and you/someone hit/s the end of the bar.
And as a vibration absorber.
With enough mass in the bar end engine vibration felt through the bars is dampened.
Sometimes they get called Bar End Weights. Makes you wonder why?
