Rocky Creek Motopresser.
Although three CO2 canisters will put just enough air into a rear tyre to get you to a petrol station forecourt at reduced speeds where you can use their compressor to top up. |

You realise you'll need a lot more than the supplied 5 cylinders to fill your tyre though? I don't know how many PSI you can expect from these, but the idea is just to let you limp to the next garage/airline. Anyway, I reckon 5 cylinders plus the inflator will be just as bulky as a standard pump like mine (smaller models are available); plus you then have to buy another stack of CO2 cylinders (~£8 for 5) after using them... it's a no from me ____________________ KC100->CB100N->CB250RS--------->DL650AL2->R1200RS->R1250RS |

You can fill a tyre with less than a handful of co2 bottles I'm led to believe two is sufficient to fill a motorbike tyre. And I think there are bigger sizes too.
I have had two of the small size skwirreled away under the seat of my big bike for a rainy day.
But I also have sealant in the tyres so my back-up is probably of more use to some kunt who gets stuck and I arrive on Thunderbird II.
(Edit: Two is enough then ride the useless hoowur to a petrol station and hope they have a pump.) ____________________ Disclaimer: The comments above may be predicted text and not necessarily the opinion of MCN. |

In my experience these aren't suitable to be kept ON the bike. They're very flimsy and when shaken about in a top box or panniers they'll easily break. I suppose if you wrap them in copious amounts of bubble wrap or something they may just about survive. But they're still fragile. ____________________ "Life is a sexually transmitted disease and the mortality rate is one hundred percent."

How long will that take to fill a motorcycle tyre? I’m getting a sugar-low just thinking about it. |
