I was reading this earlier too

It just seems to me it's stuff that is going to be bought by rich people who have nothing else to spend their vast amount of money on, just so that they can brag about it over the Ferrero Rocher at the next big social event

I also read somewhere that people have bought some images and they haven't even been able to access them.

But that is just it, you are not buying the image, you are buying the digital certificate to say you own it, and in most cases you are not even buying the copyright to the image

Anyone can still have a digital copy of said image on their phone/computer/tablet

I'm wondering now if there is some tax relief/benefit in spending vast amounts of money on absolutely nothing Confused

The best analogy i could come up with for NFTs is theyre like buying the receipt of something someone else owns but even less value.
