At least the seat isn't brown.

What's wrong with bar end mirrors?
Shifty
I think they look cool.

You are not responsible for your grandchildren.

Admittedly I might think differently if I had some ... Thinking ... but as I haven't, then I simply see it that once your own child/ren have left home, you are entitled to be your own person again.

If they choose to have children, it's up to you if you want to stick around to be lumbered with them.

No doubt I will change my mind if I ever become a grandmother.
Meantime, my daughter is talking about getting a Ducati Laughing

The great thing about grandchildren is you can enjoy that pinnacle of human existence - observing the creation of a person, in the psychological sense - but someone else gets to clean up all the shit!

Link doesn't seem to work Thinking

edit: Okay it works. BCF seems to have forced the link to be https but it only works via http. Odd!

Fantastically low review scores for that engine Laughing Also interesting to see that the first reviewer's previous bike was a Suzuki GT550. Same as me. Only difference is I'd rate my current machine much higher. Perhaps it handles better for me because so much of the bike is customised away from the original design Thinking .

I really enjoy riding it, at least in the city anyway. I took a longer trip (1-2hrs) to the coast last weekend and that wasn't too great. Suspension is solid and not the most comfortable seating position (but not awful either). Best part was coming back, we got caught in MASSIVE monsoon rains, all the roads flooded and I ended up sloshing into some rather deep water at fair speed, causing the engine to cut out and never fully recover for most of the journey back. I think one of the spark plugs got wet or something because the bike was literally running at half power for the whole thing. It was really the most intense rain I've ever ridden through, coupled with floods sewage water, you name it, and having to rev the tits off the engine and slip the clutch for almost the entire thing to make sure it didn't cut out through all the deep water parts.

At least it wasn't cold rain Very Happy
