So did you think it was good? Or bad? it's not clear! (Much like the 1984 Dune I guess! Hah! Burn David Lynch for a movie he made nearly 40 years ago!)

Aye, thought it was good. Would've liked more fleshing out of the background - human computers, navigators, space folding etc., but that didn't detract from the story, I thought. The 2.5 hours went too quickly, hence my impatience to see the rest Smile

I believe one attempt at filming it was stopped when the proposed director said 15 hours of screen time.

yeah but Jodorowsky is a certified nutter. He wanted Salvador Dali to play the emperor, and was going to pay him some ludicrous daily rate to be in the film...
