Good morning all,

I have this thing, it’s basically a sack truck but it has solid pins instead of a plate to lift. It also has a weird pivot point so it’s not very good to use to lift things and the pins are about 50mm off the floor as well.
I got it out of the skip at work and I’m curious as to what it was used for.

Hopefully those pics load, if not let me know and I’ll host them somewhere else.

Would be very grateful for any replies or info.
Cheers,
Joe

I would have guessed cable reel mover but the pins are a bit high and the straight handles make it a very awkward tool to use. Plus the pins are a bit thin.

Wouldn't someone at work know? What's the work? There may be a clue there?

Possibly, but no one from the engineering department knew. It was a food production factory. I dont actually work there anymore unfortunately.

The skip is in the car park and its quite common for employees to arrive and dump stuff from home, so it could be from anywhere.

It certainly looks like it's intended to move something cylindrical.
