Surprisingly tidy job but seriously, this highlights the value of labour being close to zero in the Middle East Sad

I'm trying to decide if his 'welding goggles' are
Foster grants or Specsavers.....

These guys have been doing the Carbide/Acetylene thing for years

Long lasting repair? dunno, cast is tricky
There's a lot of pre heating post cooling stuff to consider
among other things.

Top marks for effort though, I do rather admire the can do attitude

I've known about them for ages, having owned a Royal Enfield for over 10 years now.

That barefoot guy sandcasting alloy gearbox componants out of melted down pepsi cans in an alleyway in Chennai is probably sub-contracting to the RE factory. Laughing

I was genuinely considering punting both my bikes in the spring and buying a new Royal Enfield Meteor (outright) and a new Suzuki GSX-S1000GT (PCP) to replace them. Then again, I always chop and change my mind on bikes. I might just have one bike since I am getting a company car sometime next year (but don't know exactly when).

I thought Royal Enfield had a good reputation these days?

Yeah, the new ones are a cut above. Designed in the UK, Harris frames, brand new factory etc. They are a modern motorcycle. The pre-unit ones they were making in Chennai 15-20 years ago to a 1950's design definately have a "cottage industry" air about the parts finish though.

Not the Muddled East but Paki-fukin-stan.
Those clips are thick as flies on a turd in FB.
It's not 'amazing' as some un-enlightened folk say.
It's fukin abject desperation, driven by Islam and it's nonsense.
As for reliable?
Reliability is not an issue as it costs less than a lentil and rice dinner to have it all melted down and re-cast again.
Those Edjits have nowhere important to be or go in a hurry, so timetables and punctuality are nonessential items in their model of 'society'.
