Another cheap date here.

An old AJS 350 single
My Hyosung GT250r
A late model Suzuki gt 250 (m)
I’d want my old Bultaco Pursang 250 back if I could
A big old Honda Translap

Although there are many many large super bikes that I’d be happy to put in my garage, I can’t think of any that I can single out as my specific dream bike.

Money no option:

1. Suzuki Katana (current model),
2. Kawasaki ZX25-R (upcoming model),
3. Ducati Panigale V4S (current model),
4. BMW K1600 Grand America (current model),
5. Indian Scout (current model).

Likely actual future bikes:

1. Suzuki GSX-S1000 GT (upcoming model), or, Suzuki Katana (current model), and,

2. Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Supernova (current model), or, Honda Forza 750 (current model - yes it's a scoot and yes I would enjoy feeling the air on my vagina).

Money and practicality no object (i.e. somewhere to keep them!), my list is a bit varied;

1. R1250RT
2. Street Triple RS (any of them!)
3. Speed Twin
4. Bullet 500
5. Sportster with V&H straight pipes (I'd probably tire of it very soon, but there is something slightly appealing about popping and burbling down a sunny coastal road with an air-cooled V-twin and assless chaps flapping in the breeze)

1: Yamaha R7. (Original one, not the 2021 model!!!)
2: Honda NR-750. (You know, the one with oval pistons and a titanium coated screen!)
3: Suzuki RGV-250M. (First 'proper' bike - fond memories.)
4: Ducati Pnigale V4S. (Bike-porn at its finest.)
5: Ducati Diavel Lamborghini Edition. (To sell for double the purchase price to a Lamborghini owner who is wondering what to buy next.)

I see Stinkers has excellent taste.

Also at number 1) Black Shadow
2) The screaming orange Laverda Jota
3) Old skool Z900
4) XT500 - presumably I can have models I've owned before?
5) And for the quirk factor, a Norman Imp autocycle.

Edit: And if the purists don't count the autocycle, I'll have to grudgingly settle for a Brough Superior SS100. Laughing

Just two on my mind at the moment:

Kawasaki Z900RS with a turbo fitted. Must be green. Just for the madness, y'know Twisted Evil

An ultimate stroker, probably something with an RG500 engine, tuned, but in a better chassis with a more upright riding position. Can't really picture it, but something along those lines. Thinking Just for the madness, y'know Twisted Evil

1) Kawasaki ZXR400. I suspect I’d now be disappointed by it’s performance but the L models in green, white and blue were so stylish! I wouldn’t say no to Candy Apple metallic or the blue one either. It’s also the bike that caught my eye while on the dole in the late 90s and treating WH Smith’s like a library. Thank you, Superbike magazine for grabbing my attention and getting me into bikes after I’d read all the aviation magazines. I took lessons and the test soon after. Aviation was always too expensive and unlikely to be a daily activity. Actually I did pay for those mags. The only-readers annoyed me then, and now.

2) Suzuki RGV250 or Honda NSR250 2-stroke race rep in the same Superbike article, although they didn’t make as strong an impression until later. Kudos to whoever owned the black RGV 250 always parked within sight of the launderette in St. Peter Port, Guernsey during my later 6-month work placement there. I sometimes wonder if I should have stayed. Black would be second choice after the classic two-tone blue-stripes over white though.

3) Bimota DB8. Exotic when I first read about it (though less so in terms of design these days), a V-twin and still rare. Otherwise I’m not sure why it’s on the list, but it is. Today.

4) Yamaha DT125 or Kawasaki KMX125. I often find myself on a road with grass up the middle thinking I’m on the wrong (Litre) bike (although it was fun getting there). I also fancy light weight, and I’m curious about 2-strokes, never having even ridden or worked on one. Also Gilera CX125 because weird.

5) Need to add a current bike so… I’ll have to get back to you.

1) 1966 Lambretta SX200
2) 1983 Yamaha RD350LC YPVS in white and red
3) 1988 Honda VFR750R RC30
4) 1998 Yamaha R1 in white and red
5) Ducati Multistrada V4 (possibly my next bike to replace my R1250GS)

I dont see myself ever getting another bike. I am happy with my r1200gs.

That being said I would like a honda melody. Maybe a Honda C90 but they seem to be shooting up in price.

I fancy a Guzzi, V85TT or V7

Swap the ER6 for a 1000sx (touring)

Aprilia Pegaso

Something 600 sport bikey for the track mebbe. (Although the ER6 would be ok for mini twin?)

Bit stuck for a fifth. I’m not really into the older stuff but I think that’s because I came to biking so recently. Probably need the wisdom of BCF to give me a steer on that Laughing

Ooh yeah, there was one in the work’s car park which really caught my eye. Reading the reviews I couldn’t decide if it was a bike for me but still, that can be number 5 for the moment.

Too many to list.

5 examples are:

Bimota SB8K Santa Monica (best looking bike ever)
Kawasaki AR80 (with 93cc kit and Micron)
Yamaha SDR200 (nippy little thing)
Moto Guzzi T3 (with Guzzi Overland kit fitted)
Laverda Montjuic (for the noise)

Other than the 2 I have already (S2r and 748) in the lottery win huge garage there'd definitely be a Suzuki Katana 1000 from the 1980s but then it gets a bit difficult.

Not because there are so many but more a case of what I'd actually ride.

A sorted Bimota V-due could be a possibility or that new stroker that I can't remember the name of.

A tuned AR80 could be fun but I aint getting any younger and probably wouldn't fit on it anymore, similar with an RG125

Just remembered the Norton F1, definitely have one of them.

So today it'd be...

My S2r 800
My 748
Katana 1000
Norton F1
V-Due
