I've got 2011 yzf with a flashing engine management light on and can't find a port to read it. Anyone got one or know where it is?

You need to count the number of flashes (and potentially if they are long or short) then look up that.

It's just a flash not a code the problem is finding the port reader that doesn't seem to exist. It says to 'disconnect the diagnostic wire and plug it into no 2'

Yes that's codes, it's not a code just a flash and if I can find out how to plug in and read it that'd be helpful Thumbs Up

Just a single flash? Or a continuous flashing? Or does it flash a certain number of times then stop?

For example, as explained in the link above, 2 long flashes followed by 5 short ones would be code 25

It's just a standard flash like an indicator. The location of the port is what were looking for.

Everything you've sent has been seen and read already Nobby.

But clearly not understood....

If you need a separate reader the light would come on a d stay on.

It's flashing. Its sending you a message in a code that you don't understamd....
