I wonder what will happen If EU/UK offer 1 million rubles (€12K) cash and a visa to the first 30K Russian soldiers to surrender…how long would there be a Russian army in Ukraine? The end of the war in Ukraine will cost us €300 million.Surely that is pocket money

I am fine to have 30 000 russians living with us if that will be the price of peace in Europe. Say 4000 in the UK and 26 000 in EU or something like that.

FYI Russian army are conscripts they are not professional like UK they do not have a choice. Young russian soldiers are victims of this war here too.

I voted against your proposal on this, because what you're advocating is the corruption of the human spirit. It's better if there is peace, enlightenment values, reason and population control. But if not (in which case I deeply regret), then let people do justice to their fathers. These people (Ukrainians and Russians) are basically the same tribe. If you bribe people you make the world sick and degrade the sanctity in the human spirit that you yourself may hold dear but which I regard as a deleterious fiction. War is a sacred thing if the human soul is also sacred. Therefore I voted against, for you. For what it's worth.

Personally I wish eastern Europe would get tucked back in behind the iron curtain. Its been a disaster for western europeans and turned Europe into a two tier society with the afluent middle class getting to live in the twenty first century while ordinary workers get thrown back into the nineteen fifties. I say give the east back to Russia and only let them back into Europe when they can socially, politically and economically come up to western standards, as the case should have been back in the nineties.

While I don't understand the Greta-bashing because I think she's just a vulnerable person that's being used as a puppet in the movement. Also I think her parents have failed at being parents as she hasn't had much of a childhood on her crusade. I think along the way they've probably trouser'd a lot of money thanks to her fame/notoriety.

I see her as a victim. If it wasn't for her having Asperger's Syndrome I would also point out that she is not a child: at 19 she is an adult. My little brother is 27, has Asperger's and his mental age is probably around 13/14 despite physically being 27 so I would definitely class her as a vulnerable person.
