Testicle remover because scooter riders clearly don't want or need them?

The blades will be hardened steel so I can't see you re-purposing those without the use of a forge or breaking a whole pack of drill-bits.

Have you covered the struts on your new backrest with wood?

Yeah that old workmate lives outdoors and has taken a shit ton of abuse over the years
I really thought it would have rotted away by now.
Anyway, another clue

Take the bolt out the middle, fold a t-shirt over your head and call yourself a ninja?

They were hard-ish but not that hard and
probably were crap and why someone left them out to rot.
I did see Sheffield on them when sanding them down tho'
if that means anything nowadays.

Last clue, next pic is the reveal

And we has a winnah!
Yep I thought I'd make up a tool for when I have to change rollers and clutch in case the impact rattler thing struggles to get the nuts off.
It does occur to me that I may have to knock off the wooden handle
and weld a bit of steel tube on, but will see how it copes as is.

That's a clever idea. Did you just look at the shears one day and thought 'I know what I could use them for' ?

In a way yes
the shears were dumped and crap for actual shearing so left lying about
When I got the scoot and saw the holes for locking the rotor type thing
and thought I might have just the thing for making a
'thing with sticky out bits for putting in holes to stop stuff turning when I want turn other bits'
which believe is the technical term for them?

Here is an alternate idea. Back in the day, it was common practice to use a combination wrench to lock the flywheel on diesel engines. Last year I replaced the clutch on my R1150R. Saves you from padding BMW's pockets any more than you have to.

A grass cutter repurposed for a grass cutter, how very novel. Laughing

Nice idea though.
