Picked this beauty up recently. Had the panigale 1299 for a while and could never get on with the sound of it. Chopped it in for an RSV4 RF, which I kept for a few years before selling and getting a KTM 1290R.

The perfect combination for me was the looks of a panigale and a V4 engine for the sound.

Went with the V4R and the racing setup. She's kicking out 234 bhp Neutral

Still got a thing for KTMs though...

Does it not have a rain button?

It has sport, street & race mode. It's not really that well orientated for the road being the R.

It struggles to put the power down on the road if it's a mild day, the back wheel just spins up if you're nailing it.

Needs a more skilled rider. Have you considered giving it to me? Smile

Doesn't it have traction control?

I would like to try one. I've never tried a Ducati before. I think I'd prefer to ride the Supersport S, always loved that bike. Have fun.

That is a stunning bike. I was glad to see ducati go to a v4 instead of just adding to the displacement of the 2. If they didn’t the twin would be up to 2000 soon

The new SuperSport is the next bike I am considering alongside the Suzuki Katana. If I am completely honest I am into both for looks more than anything else and I love each's look for different reasons. Would buy both if I had a big garage and the will to keep looking after two bikes.

The V4 and V4S are both 1,100cc but the V4R is 1,000cc with a load of other adjustments.

My mate has a v4 speciale, we swapped bikes the other day and had a blast, feels quite different to be fair.
