I have a problem with my left wrist. I have a foreshortened Ulna, which means my wrist is not correctly connected to my hand. Most of the time it's not an issue, but when riding bikes it can cause weird pains. What I have to do is as follows:
Not wear a watch - It makes a huge difference
Not do my cuff or glove up too tight - Tight enough that it won't come off in an accident but not so tight that it's pinching in any way.
There are also bike things you can check:
Make sure the clutch cable is well lubricated, a binding cable will cause all sorts of problems
If it's a hydraulic clutch, see if Oberon do a slave cylinder that makes the action lighter.
On some Buells (and Harleys I'm guessing) you can get something called a Muller Power clutch that reduces the stiffness of the clutch action.
On some cable clutch bikes you can get a Magura conversion kit that allows you to have a hydraulic clutch. It's a really easy fit in most cases and makes a huge difference.
I've also got one of these (medium):

I trained with this every few days for a while and it increased my grip strength a bit. I don't really use it these days but I'll have to dig it out again because I just damaged my wrist in an accident.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another. |

I doubt the pull strength on a CBF600 is all that. Certainly you wouldn't want the clutch on the old T140 I'm currently working on
I'd have a think about getting some adjustable aftermarket levers and optimising the angle, bite point etc. The stock levers on my XSR were okay but the levers I currently have are lovely. ____________________ Husqvarna Vitpilen 401, Yamaha XSR700, Honda Rebel, Yamaha DT175, Suzuki SV650 (loan) Fazer 600, Keeway Superlight 125, 50cc turd scooter |

I wear a wrist brace when I'm doing trials due to an old break in my left wrist. Fits under my glove and seems to help.
I also push the bars on my sports tourer out as close to flat as I can get them so the lever JUST touches the fairing on full lock. On a honda, this may involve filing a tage off the clip-on that engages in the to yoke.
I landed up fitting flat bars to Mrs stinkwheels CBR600F. This was not entirely straightforwards. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”

Have I missed what bike he owns? If it's a dry clutch Ducati, it's normal, ____________________ Triumph Trophy Launch Edition |
