Passengers advised to fly with just one bag

...from "industry figures" but in the next breath it turns out this statement is from the unions Thinking

And to top it off everyone I know who's travelled via Gatwick this week has gone "problems? what problems?" Mountains and mole hills comes to mind.

As I have no intention of leaving these sainted isles for the cesspits of foreign shores on any sort of flying vehicle, I couldn't give a rats bottom.

I know, very selfish of me.

MCR is awful. Huge queues for security outbound, waiting for a stand and a 2 hour wait for luggage on return. No information about what they were doing.

If you know 3.5 hours before it arrives that a plane is due to land, how can you not have somewhere to park it?

Who couild possibly have anticipated such a high demand for flights people purchase tickets for well in advance?

Usual media storm over nothing.
