It cost me £5-50p for a metre and it is going back so find me reputable seller / dealer?

Why don't you just cut some up and leave it in a bottle/jar of petrol for a year and see what it looks like then?

That might be misleading because the hose is layered, and in use only the inner is exposed.

When I get round to this job I won't be wasting my time trying to demonstrate that cheap fakes don't work. I'll just pay £20/metre from a well-respected manufacturer compliant with industry standard 'SAE J30 R9' and forget about it.
