Not having to commute by public transport.

That's about it. I've tried packing it in a few times, as it feels like the odds are increasingly stacked against you (average speed everywhere, 20mph and low traffic bollocks more pervasive, most drivers on the phone, suicidal pedestrians etc). I last about a week on the trains before it becomes too much and I ring up the insurance.

Don't get me wrong I like bikes and everything. I just don't get the muggy cunts that spend a fortune on low mileage sports bikes so that they can keep them in the shed.

Oh yeah and this. The stress of being sat in traffic and being late, when there's nothing you can do, and you don't know why you're in a jam or when it will lift. I don't know how people do it.
