Ok I get they were presumably being used illegally in some way - but why not put them in a container and send to somewhere needy.

Most of those looked like road bikes and scooters.

because, if they arent scrapped, it wont be long until it gets abused, by unscrupulous people.

Excellent perhaps my local plod can borrow the idea for the electric scooters and cunty-quad-bikes* that the muscle top Marys are riding around my way.

* Don't care if they're legal. They're for farmers or twats.

Some sort of government scheme where homeless ppl get work breaking down these bikes into parts to sell on eBay?
