He's re-shuffling. He's like Trump in that respect, cannot accept the inevitable.

I think he will survive. He'll be a scape goat for the mess the country is in and no one else wants to clean this shit up.

Just got to hope he drags her down with him, she's a dangerous, evil cow.

Mind you, I feel if he'd have gone with a "who the fuck cares" attitude rather than denial, it would have played better. I don't think anyone actually cares that whatshisface pinched someones bottom. At least nobody whose oppinion matters.

If drunkenly grabbing a blokes arse on a night out is grounds for resignation, there would be a lot of jobs coming available. It's something you'd deal with youirself if you took offence, usually by way of telling them to fuck off. Then if the being toldf to fuck off doesn't work, backing it up with a threat, as I did recently to a pissed-up mate who was going round all night goosing people. "If you do that one more time, I'm going to kick you in the nuts.".

It's beyond that now as his local constituency plod are investigating actual sexual assaults.

Colour me skeptical but they reported his drunken bum touching as a sexual assault too.

Meh, I suppose if it was a womans bum he'd touched, there wouldn't be a ladder tall enough to get on that high horse but to me a drunken fairy touching mens bottoms is more laughable than serious. Stopping short of predatory behaviour against vulnerable people, I suspect if his MO is drunken groping in nightclubs, he'd have a considerably flatter and more crooked nose by now if the gropees objected that strongly.

Pincher by name, Pincher by nature is how he is supposedly referred to in Westminster Shocked

The odd person resigns now and then (Brexit minister before I think) but losing a chancellor? That doesn't happen too often. (Javid's might have meant something if the resignations were staggered, bad strategy IMHO.)

Love this from Andrew Mitchell (ex-chief whip)

Javid resigns again and Sunak who wants his job. It's hard to feel sorry for Boris when all of this is self-inflicted. I knew he was an incompetent buffoon, but going from their biggest majority since the 80's to a total clusterfuck in 18 months is something special.

Are British PM's in competition to be the biggest laughing stock (looking at the last few)?

Scary times for Labour MPs.

How will all those millennials and gen-z react when they realise that all of those expensive promises are in fact just "aspirations", and that Labour has the same or less money to spend as the evil nasty Tories?

I hear what you're saying, but the reason why it's being taken seriously is because this guy was in a position of power over the gropees, wasn't he - like an employer/employee relationship - it's not like he was going for randomers in clubs, which would be much more likely to end up in a teeth-on-floor situation

I'm betting it'll take a rule change of the 1922 committee and another vote of no confidence to finally oust him. He's too much of a sociopath to actually do the decent thing or recognise that he's stuffed.

Let's hope that it's the end of Priti vacant, Raab, Dorres et al as well.
